Pastor Rick Bennett Childrens Ministry Grassland Heights Baptist Church

Rick Bennett

Children's Pastor

Rick and his wife Gina have served in Children’s ministries for several years. They enjoy working with children and seeing them mature in grace, love and building stronger relationships with their parents. Their goal is to assist parents in raising kids that come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Their favorite part of the ministry is seeing kids do something for the first time – singing a solo, cooking a smore, going bowling and accepting Jesus into their life. Also, Rick and Gina enjoy eating all the Goldfish they want.

Jim Justice

Minister of Music & Worship

Jim Justice has joyfully served as Minister of Music and Worship for Grassland Heights Baptist Church since 2011.  Jim possesses a passion for a blended musical style within the weekly church worship service and considers the rich hymns of our heritage, traditional choral anthems, and the relevant, contemporary Christian songs of our current day, all to be useful musical inclusions within the corporate worship experience.  Jim and wife Cathy are the proud parents of two sons and grandparents of three beautiful grandchildren.  He currently resides in Bellevue, Tennessee.

Rees joined GHBC as Student Minister in early 2024. He enjoys all things outdoors, be it sports or games, but Rees loves Jesus more than anything else in the world. His life verse is Galatians 2:20 which says, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Rees’ greatest desire is to see others be who God has created them to be and to assist them in that journey in any way possible.
